WAC Dialogue Dialogue: “Interchange and discussion of ideas, especially when open and frank, as in seeking mutual understanding or harmony.” Webster’s Dictionary
The World Affairs Council is pleased to announce that member Rick Rhodes of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, LLC, has agreed to chair and organize the 2010-2011 Dialogue program.
Through these Saturday morning dialogue sessions, we hope to not only engage each other but to gain a better understanding of some of today’s most pressing issues.
The first meeting in early 2010, on Saturday, February 13, at the Northern Trust Bank in Palm Beach, was a huge success with more than 25 members discussing terrorism and personal security.
The second meeting was held on Saturday, March 20, at the Delray Beach Public Library. The topic was "US versus THE WORLD: How does America's healthcare system compare?"
Notices will be posted and emailed as plans for additional sessions are finalized.
As before, we encourage you to become engaged with your ideas and volunteer to lead a discussion.
Contact Rick Rhodes at (561) 339-3456 or at rick.rhodes@smithbarney.com for further information.
