The World Affairs Council of the Florida Palm Beaches is a membership-based, non-partisan, non-profit organization of a diverse group of individuals and businesses.  Its mission is to provide its members and local community with opportunities to become globally-engaged, knowledgeable citizens.

 

Memberships are for the program year September 2009 through May 2010 and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.  All levels (Basic and Premium) offer free admission for non-meal programs of the Distinguished Speaker Series, Members-Only Discussion Groups and access to Travel the World tours.   Members at the Premium levels also receive public recognition and invitations to special events and receptions with speakers.

Full-time Student:  $10 For full-time high school and college students with a valid student ID.

 

Young Professional:  $75  For young professionals age 40 and younger

 

Individual:  $150

Statesman:  $2,500

·         Membership for two persons in a household

·         Invitation for two (2) to dine^† with each and every one of our Distinguished Speakers

Diplomat:  $5,000

·         A total of 30 guest passes*

·         Preferred seating at Speaker Events

·         Recognition as a named sponsor for two (2) Speaker Events

·         Invitation for two (2) to dine^† with each and every one of our Distinguished Speakers

Additional guest passes* may be purchased (subject to availability) for individual Distinguished Speakers presentations for $30 pre-paid on the web site or by check if received no later than 24 hours before the event or $35 at the door.

 

* Each Guest Pass is good for attendance at one speaker event.

^† Each person attending the dinner is responsible for the cost of his or her meal.
